You will make a “Wanted” poster of yourself. It will include a photograph of yourself. Using the “WordArt” tool to decorate the big “Wanted” text.
A listing of your ‘crimes’ e.g. eating too many sweets, watching too much television, handing homework in late etc.

Students will learn how to import pictures, align the images, create WordArts using WordArt feature in Microsoft word.
Step by step instructions:
Step 1
To launch Microsoft Words:
Start à Program à Microsoft Words
Step 2
Type in the text “Wanted”. Make it fun by applying “WordArt” effect. (Refer to “WordArt Instruction” if you are not familiar with “WordArt” on page 6 – A1). Center the “Wanted” Text. (Refer to “Centering Text & Images Instruction” on page 7 – B1, if you are not familiar with alignment features of Microsoft Word”)
Hit the “Enter” key to go to the next line.

Insert a photo of yourself. Center the Photo. (Refer to “WordArt Instruction” if you are not familiar with “WordArt” on page 6 – A1). Center the “Wanted” Text. (Refer to “Centering Text & Images Instruction” on page 7 – B1, if you are not familiar with alignment features of Microsoft Word”).

Center your photo.
Type your name, grade and your crime.

Double check your work.
You should have:
1 “Wanted” on the top, center, bold, and WordArt effect has been applied.
2 A photo of yourself.
3 Your name, and grade.
4. Your Crime – center, bold, and WordArt effect has been applied.
6. Make sure you save your work. Save the file as: “wanted poster-your name”
5. Ask Mr. Phu for permission to print out your finish “Wanted Poster”
Step 7
Print out your poster. Go to File à Print
Choose – A Printer.
